Surfin' USA

“Surfin’ U.S.A.” - 1963 - Surf Rock

The feel-good Beach Boys track “Surfin’ U.S.A.” has one simple premise: If you lived by the ocean, you’d be surfing constantly.

Who can deny that logic? Brian Wilson’s smooth falsetto instantly transports us to California’s iconic beaches.

As Wilson sings: “We’re waxing down our surfboards / We can’t wait for June.” He’s right -- why hold off until the official start of summer to start having fun?

Our “Surfin’ U.S.A.” sundae is a delicious way to get excited for the sunny season. With a pineapple ice cream and coconut sorbet base, you’ll instantly think of all the beachy products that smell so good you want to eat them, but really shouldn’t -- like sunblock and surf wax. (Don’t worry -- unlike those things, our sundae is delectable.)

With a miniature chocolate surfboard, crumbly graham cracker “sand” and a delightful cocktail umbrella on top -- the “Surfin’ U.S.A.” sundae is a tropical treat to eat. It’s a Perfect 10 for those who wish they were Hanging Ten.
