At BETA5 we have developed a reputation in Vancouver for our creative approach to pastry and chocolate. Our chocolates have won numerous international awards, and our cream puffs and ice creams are always in high demand. Our small but dynamic team of cooks come from a variety of backgrounds, and collectively, we share a commitment to consistently making a high quality product from the best ingredients we can find.
We are currently looking to fill a full-time Junior Chocolatier position. We offer a rotating 4-day work week, with alternating Tuesday - Friday and Wednesday - Saturday schedules. As a member of our chocolate team, you are involved in the making of enrobed and molded chocolates, casting solid chocolate items, and crafting featured seasonal items. Our menu changes seasonally, and we encourage our cooks to participate in the creative process.
Our ideal candidate is an individual who is motivated to grow and develop their skills as a chocolatier. We look for insightful cooks who take a strong interest in the process of making chocolates.
We offer a starting wage of $40,000 / year (based on experience), along with health savings account, tips, and sweet treats!
