Ice Cream Socials are just around the corner

Before the smartphone, there was the Sony Walkman. Before there was Spotify, there was the Summer of Love. And before there was an epidemic of Bieber fever -- nobody knew the cure for Beatle Mania.

For as long as we’ve had toes that tap and fingers that can form the “rock on” sign ... music has been the thread that ties all of pop culture together. No matter whether you’re 24 or 94, all it takes is a few iconic notes to transport you back to the most memorable and age-defining moments of our shared cultural history.

That’s why we’ve chosen pop music as the theme of our 2018 Ice Cream Social series. We’ve carefully studied the most epic melodies and genres of the past 50 years and designed a one-of-a-kind sundae to pair with each unbelievable moment. 

This summer at BETA5, we’ll trip back in time, starting with the 1960s. At our shop each week, you’ll be treated to a custom audioscape composed of the sounds that best define each unique cultural era. You’ll also enjoy a limited edition, exclusive ice cream sundae inspired by the significant hits of the decade.

Lend us your ears. Toss us your taste buds (OK, we made that one up).

Get ready to enjoy some tunes and treats that are sweet like Neil Diamond’s “Caroline” … or Guns ‘n’ Roses’ “Child of Mine” … or Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Home Alabama” … You get the picture.
