As the holiday season quickly approaches, our team is hard at work in the chocolate kitchen, handcrafting a unique collection of chocolates inspired by activities that bring together friends and family during the festive season. From exploring neighbourhood light displays to snowball fights in the backyard, this year’s holiday collection has a nostalgic feel, with a modern look and iconic flavours that will create their very own food memories.

The look of this year’s Holiday Chocolate Collection was inspired by holiday light displays, with each of the six flavours uniquely finished to give off the warm, vintage glow of multi-coloured incandescent Christmas lights. Each flavour will delight with references to nostalgic throwbacks like hunting for the perfect Christmas tree, drinking a cup of delicately spiced eggnog (our version is spiked for the grown-ups!), finding a mandarin orange in the toe of your stocking, and cracking open nuts with the help of your nutcracker. We’re particularly proud of of our Gingerbread chocolate, which recently won GOLD at the Canadian Chocolate Awards! It pairs a soft caramel flavoured with our favorite blend of gingerbread spices with a speculoos cookie praline; this is one you won’t want to miss.

 

Making return appearances this year are holiday best-sellers, including our Peppermint Patties and Snowballs. Our Peppermint Crunch Polygon Bar is back, which pairs our 66% dark chocolate with cocoa nibs and crushed candy canes, and this year we’ve teamed up with Canuck Place Children’s Hospice to donate $1 from the sale of every Peppermint Crunch Polygon Bar, to support the important work they do for families and children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

And, what would the holidays be without our cheeky go-to gift for the trouble-makers in your life? Our Lump of Coal is back, in its original form! This OG treat is filled with a soft caramel flavoured with a healthy amount of Venezuelan dark rum, a creamy eggnog ganache, and an electrifying pop rock praline. This is quite possibly the only Lump of Coal that will appear on everyone’s wish list.
