RETAIL LEAD

Full-Time | Vancouver, BC

THE ROLE:

We're looking for a Retail Lead to help run our shop at 413 Industrial Ave through the holiday season and beyond. You'll report to our Retail Manager, open and close the shop, lead shifts, and be in charge of retail operations when the manager is off site. It's a hands-on role. Most of your day is on the floor with customers, with some packaging support during busy periods.

IN OUR DREAM SCENARIO, YOU HAVE:

• 2+ years of boutique retail or hospitality experience, including time as a keyholder or shift lead
• Comfort being trusted with opening, closing and end-of-day procedures
• An eye for detail and a high standard for presentation
• Calm, clear communication with customers and teammates, especially when it's busy
• Reliability. This is a role we need to be able to count on

RETAIL DUTIES:

• Open and close the shop, including POS reconciliation and end-of-day procedures (we're a cashless business)
• Lead shifts and support our seasonal retail team
• Give knowledgeable, tailored customer service, including product descriptions, ingredients and allergens
• Keep the shop merchandised, restocked, clean and organized
• Coordinate restocking and order pickups with our production team
• Help package products and online orders during busy periods, to FOODSAFE standards

THE DETAILS:

Full-time. Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm through October. From November, the shop is open 7 days a week and shifts are scheduled between 9am and 9pm. $23/hour. Tips and a staff discount, plus the occasional sweet treat. Starting as soon as possible.
