Effective Wednesday May 12, 2021, we're excited to now offer our delivery service across the city of Vancouver every Wednesday thru Saturday!

 just place an order of $35 or more (before taxes) and you'll see a local delivery option appear at checkout. to celebrate the launch of this new service, we're offering an introductory rate of $5 / address and FREE delivery for orders of $75 or more...⁠

the checkout experience

once your cart meets the minimum $35 order value for delivery, a 'local delivery' option will appear. click on this icon, and you'll be prompted to enter your postal code. after confirming your postal code, the system will determine your eligibility for delivery, and (if you're eligible) the calendar that appears will display the next available delivery date for your area. at the moment, we are only taking pre-orders for a maximum of 14 days in advance, so you will most likely see only one available option for delivery date.

 

we are delivering to postal codes across the city of Vancouver from Wednesday to Saturday and areas surrounding Vancouver every Sunday, on a rotating schedule.

 

the available delivery day will appear on the calendar when you input your postal code.

please make sure to include a cell phone number for the recipient for all local delivery orders, as this will be the most efficient way for us to notify or contact you on the delivery day.

order cut-off time

similar to our cut-off for pickup orders, all orders for local delivery must be placed before 11.59pm on the day prior to the requested delivery date. at this time we are not able to accommodate same day delivery requests.

after your order is placed

you'll receive an order confirmation email that summarizes what to expect next. we will be delivering all orders between 10am - 6pm, and once your order is packed and our van is loaded up for the day you'll receive a text message notifying you of the estimated time of delivery for your order. you'll receive another notification once we're nearby and within 30 minutes of arrival. if you're expecting a delivery, please look out for these notifications!

the delivery

we will contact you upon arrival, but if you live in a condo or apartment building  please be prepared to meet us at the front door to facilitate a quick and easy pickup. if you have specific safe-drop instructions, please ensure to leave them in the note section when placing your order. our goal is to ensure a smooth and easy delivery, and we appreciate your help in working together to facilitate this.

please note, we will not be safe-dropping orders through the summer months due to the perishable nature of our products. 

the fine print

we will do everything in our power to communicate with you, or the order recipient on the day of delivery to ensure that we can complete the delivery as planned. in the event that we are unable to contact you, we will return to our shop with your order. these attempts at communication will all be documented for our records. the customer is responsible for ensuring that the phone number provided with an order is correct.

if your order is being delivered as a gift, please ensure the recipient will be home for delivery. we recommend confirming with the recipient, prior to placing the order.

we will do our very best to communicate and get in touch with you about your order but if we are unable to get a hold of you and make your delivery, your order will return back to our facility.

missed orders for chocolates can be held at our facility for pickup at a later date. if you have paid for delivery for a chocolate order and missed the delivery, we will be unable to issue a refund for the delivery. if we do not hear back from you within 7 days of a missed delivery, your items will be deemed forfeit and ineligible for a full refund.

due to the perishable nature of products like cream puff, missed deliveries will be ineligible for a refund and a new order will need to be placed for a redelivery.

to redeliver a missed delivery on the same day, please get in touch with our team via email (info@beta5chocolates.com) as soon as possible to arrange this. additional delivery charge will apply for all redeliveries.
